Yes, I said it, free ice cream. Is there a better way to beat the oncoming summer heat? On Wednesday, August 12, Austin-based Lick Honest Ice Creams (312 Pearl Pkwy., Building 2, Suite 2101) is celebrating their one-year anniversary of opening at its SA location with a free scoop of ice cream to anyone that walks in the store from 7-10 p.m. as customer appreciation.
Lick is known for it’s alternative ice cream flavors like Cilantro Lime and Persimmon and Sage and also offers dairy-free and vegan options.
Word of caution: The free scoop hours were popular last year during their opening. Get there early or risk standing in line for an hour.
