Chef Johnny Hernandez will close La Gloria, El Machito and The Fruteria on Wednesday, May 21. Greg Fernandez, chef at La Gloria, lost his son Gabriel on Friday, May 16, so all Hernandez-owned restaurants will be closed so Fernandez extended family can be with him and his family during this time.
Operations should resume Thursday, May 22.
