Houston-based Mambo Seafood will open a new location at Brooks City Base this month, bringing the chain’s number of San Antonio eateries to three.

The Latin American seafood restaurant has 11 locations in Houston in addition to its Alamo City stores at 4711 NW Loop 410 and 1450 SW Loop 410.

San Antonio’s latest Mambo Seafood, 3242 Goliad Road, will hold a grand opening celebration on Nov. 16 with family activities, food and drink samples and live entertainment, company officials said. “We’re excited to welcome the San Antonio community and be a part of the Brooks neighborhood,” company CEO Nuno Lima said in an email.
