Looking for really rad, manly brunch options? The Boiler House (312 Pearl Pkwy, Bldg 3) might be your best bet according to Men’s Journal, which included the Pearl-based eatery on a list of 10 of the country’s best places to brunch this Tuesday.
Boiler House, which opened in late 2012, sits inside a 117-year old building which housed the boilers that powered the former Pearl Brewery. Nowadays, San Antonio-born and raised executive chef Jeff White cranks out Hangover Hash, a La Parka Porko giant tamal with scrambled eggs, chicharrones, pork belly, chorizo and provolone among other things and a house-smoked salmon quiche.
The publication went on to mention Boiler House’s inclusion of a David Lee Roth breakfast burger, which I need to get my hands on.
Reservations for Boiler House can be made through Open Table.
