Naming things can be tricky. No one will know that better than would-be restaurant owners trying to come up with jazzy monikers that stick. It makes sense then, that Rudolfo Martinez, chef-owner of Tapa Tapa Truck will now use the name for his upcoming eatery at 2327 N St. Mary’s.
In the meantime, Martinez will re-launch the truck as “Food Truck,” with stoner-friendly eats including chicken and waffle balls, chicken-bacon roll ups, watermelon Pop Rock salad, stuffed grilled cheese sandwiches and sliders.
Food Truck will open this Wednesday at 7 p.m. on site at the upcoming restaurant, from 7 to 11 p.m and 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The truck will run Tuesday-Saturday going forward.
