According to the National Weather Service, it’s going to rain a lot over the next 24 hours. To keep people dry while enjoying local brews the opening ceremonies for SA Beer Week, slated for Saturday, March 21 from 4:30 to 9 p.m. will now be held at seven different bars across the city, and not outdoors at Main Plaza.
All four Big Hops locations, Freetail’s Brewpub, GS1221 and Joey’s will now host the indoor festivities. Each location will carry this year’s collaboration brew, commemorative glass, as well as have printed SABW guides for the remainder of the week’s activities.
To unify SABW revelers a kick-off toast will be simulcast at all locations at 7 p.m. Stay dry out there, beer fans!
