Amid San Antonio’s slew of recent restaurant closures, finally some good news: previously shuttered burger joint Teddy B’s has reopened at a new location.

“Dear Teddy B’s customers, we have good news. We are back in business,” the 10-year-old restaurant’s owners revealed Wednesday in an Instagram post.

That means diners can now get their fill of Teddy B’s burgers, hot dogs, fruit cups and build-your-own funnel cakes at a new address, 9903 Fredericksburg Road, near USAA’s corporate office. The eatery took over the space previously occupied by Burger Haven, according to its post.

Teddy B’s closed its original Babcock Road location in October. The move followed an earlier social media post in which the eatery said it had “experienced a notable decline in customer traffic” which had cut into its bottom line.

Teddy B’s owners didn’t say in the Instagram post what enabled the business to reopen. However, when contacted online by the Current, they thanked customers for “all the love and support.”

Teddy B’s is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, according to its Google listing.
