There are certainly more authentic Mexican food joints that offer bigger-than-your-face burritos, but Freebirds World Burrito is the only one we know of that’s giving away free guacamole next Saturday, National Avocado Day.

The Austin-based chain will dole out the green goodness with any purchase of a burrito, bowl or salad on July 31. But takeout fans be warned: the offer is only valid in-store.

At present, there are six Freebirds shops in San Antonio.
