There are several reasons to spend this Sunday Funday at Paper Tiger. For starters, the venue is bringing in Louisiana’s Rebirth Brass Band, a Grammy-winning group formed in early 80s New Orleans that was featured in HBO’s post-Katrina Treme, and knows how to get the party started.
Tickets to the Sunday show are $15 for general admission and or $60 for an all-you-can-eat VIP shrimp boil by Pinch Boil House & Bia Bar along with beer from Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery. Pinch will open its first brick-and-mortar location later this summer in downtown with Vietnamese-style boils, banh mis and more.
VIP tickets, $60, will include food and beer prices (along with a possibly frozen Hurricane); shrimp boil plates will be to general admission for $12 and will include third pound of OG garlic butter shrimp, baby red potatoes, local sausage and corn.
The event is rain or shine.
