Following the breakup of New York City punk rock band Choking Victim in 1998 (which actually reunited for a few shows back in 2016), Leftover Crack formed a year or so before the actual break up and eventually assumed the role as leaders of the underground crust punk community.
Leftover Crack was originally used as a side project for frontman Scott Sturgeon, better known as Stza, to release songs that Choking Victim wasn’t using and play a blend of hardcore, ska and crust.
Through years of touring and defying authority, religion and capitalism, the band has continued to bring punk rock children into their bosom, where teen angst and pent up aggression can be released and celebrated.
So, re-sew that Anarchy patch and tie those Doc Martens tight when Stza and friends come to San Antonio for a show at Paper Tiger on Friday, March 1 with Days n Daze, Dayglo Abortions and COP/OUT.
Tickets ($16-$20) are available now and can be purchased at papertigersatx.com.
