Canadian metal act Kittie thrashed it up Monday at the Aztec Theatre as part of a tour that follows a roughly ten-year hiatus. The all-woman band — which still includes sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander from its early-2000s lineup — rocked hard, dipping into both the gothic nu-metal sound that marked its early work along with newer material that leans in a more brutal direction. Kingdom of Giants opened the show.
