The San Antonio Reggae Festival is returning to Rosedale Park this Saturday with legendary roots reggae group The Abyssinians headlining.
The gathering will be the Jamaica-based band’s first-ever Alamo City performance. The bill also includes local and regional acts Crucial Prophet, Evening Echoes, Ras Ambush and the Ambush Band, Scara Doctor & Travii Don, Marc Borde, DJ Dish.1 and Ras Yama.
In addition to music and island vibes, the San Antonio Reggae Festival will feature vendors selling art and cultural merchandise along with a variety of food trucks and vendors offering Jamaican vittles.
Performances will take place under the Rosedale Park Pavilion, meaning the family friendly show will go on rain or shine, according to organizers. It’s the 10th year the park has hosted the event.
Tickets are available online.
