Janet Jackson Postpones January SA Concert

LiveNation has just announced that several dates on Janet Jackson's 2016 Unbreakable Tour must be postponed due to a surgery procedure that the singer will be undergoing. Tickets previously purchased will be honored at the soon-to-be-scheduled follow-up show. Refunds will also be granted at the original point of purchase.

Here is what Jackson's press release stated regarding the impending surgery and tour rescheduling:

“I learned today from my doctors that I must have surgery soon. It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring. Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your tickets. They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced. Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time. There will be no further comment. I love you all so much and am ever grateful for your understanding and your love.”

Exactly what Jackson is undergoing surgery for is unknown at this time.
