To the delight of South Texas millennials eager to relive the Camp Rock side-bang era, the Jonas Brothers are expanding their current tour to include San Antonio.
The pop trio will bring The Burning Up Tour All Over Again to Frost Bank Center on Saturday, Nov. 14, venue officials said Monday.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, through FrostBankCenter.com and Ticketmaster. Presale access is available via Frost Bank Center’s All Access Newsletter.
The tour is a resurrection of the blockbuster 2008 arena run that cemented Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas as Disney-era pop icons. Now, nearly two decades later, they’re taking the retrospective nationwide.
Select dates will feature special guests Magnus Ferrell, Franklin Jonas and All Time Low.
“We’re taking The Burning Up Tour All Over Again on the road so we can relive it with all of you, city by city,” the band said in a statement.
This newest announcement caps a stacked week for the Jonas Brothers, who are taking full advantage of the millennial nostalgia renaissance. The group was inducted as Disney Legends at D23, Camp Rock 3 premiered on Disney Channel on Aug. 13, and they will perform at the NFL’s first regular-season game in Australia.
