Colombian reggaeton and pop superstar Karol G is bringing her latest tour to the Alamodome on Wednesday.
But if you didn’t score tickets, don’t fret: there are plenty of other live music options for San Antonio music fans — from a package funk tour to local pop to “rave metal.” Let’s take a look.

The Browning
Self-proclaimed “rave metal,” The Browning does exactly what it says on the tin — the act blends deathcore, electronicore and occasional rapping into dance-worthy tracks. Expect headbanging breakdowns and double bass drumming then 808 beats, all within the same song. The Missouri natives just rereleased their debut album Burn This World, which includes an eccentric cover of Eiffel 65’s “Blue (Da Ba Dee).” $27.52, 6:30 p.m., Paper Tiger, 2410 N. Karol G
Colombian superstar Karol G is one of the world’s biggest international stars, and a leading light in reggaeton. She’s collaborated with Manu Chao — one of the all-time greats — and was named Billboard’s 2024 Woman of the Year. The RIAA even certified the Grammy- and multi-time Latin Grammy-winner’s single “Tusa” platinum 28 times over. Will Wright
For those who enjoy the classic Bakersfield sound, Will Wright serves up country done right, or Wright, if you will. Guitar playing is where Wright really shines, and his fast and clean work brings Buck Owens guitarist and right-hand man Don Rich to mind. Wright is originally from rural Louisiana but lives on a ranch outside Austin nowadays. Paida, Cybr.grl
Here are a pair of internet-famous San Antonians making an international splash. If you like your pop ultra-sweet, super-catchy and in over-the-top Technicolor, this is your show. Paida makes ADHD pop that verges on having too many hooks, too many changes and too much energy, but that’s precisely the appeal. Cybr.grl similarly overloads. Spyro Gyra
Jazz supergroup Spyro Gyra is marking 50 years together with a stop in San Antonio. San Antonio Funk Fest with Zapp, Bar-Kays, Klymaxx, Lakeside
This stacked tour of funk acts seems like a good way to boogie on a long holiday weekend.
