Punk rock’s not dead — just sledding! Local bands Lloronas and Sketchy Trench drop their first split album Chunk-O-Coal on Saturday, December 23 at a joint record release/label launch party by puro online retail brand Merch Vandal to celebrate its new partnership with Matador Recording Studios.
The show, hosted at Limelight from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., will feature live performances by Los Tejanos Muertos, Destroy Orbison, Sonic Ammunition, Sketchy Trench and Lloronas, with Psycho 78 rounding off the night with an hour of classics by The Misfits.
CD pre-orders are available now at merchvandal.com for $6 each, which will also grant buyers free admission to the party. Tickets are $5 day-of-show, but for an extra $5 fans can receive a CD along with it.
