San Antonio concert venue The Espee unveiled a new festival Tuesday morning that’s sure to stir up early 2000s nostalgia for those who are still indie kids at heart.

The inaugural Sunset Festival, scheduled for March 7 and 8, will feature some of the biggest names of the Garden State era, including Spoon, Santigold and Band of Horses. Two-day passes go on sale Thursday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. at The Espee’s website. Prices aren’t yet publicly listed. Supporting acts will include blue-eyed soul singer Allen Stone, pop-rock sister act Aly & AJ, Austin indie-country duo The Droptines and indie-pop artist Lily Is That You. But if all the indie feels get to be a little too much, G-funk pioneer Warren G will be there to regulate. Several supporting acts hail from close to home, including San Antonio’s Buttercup, The Daisy Killers, Elnuh, Los Juanos and Baldemar. Cody Jasper and Tanner Legg & The Heaters also rep the Lone Star State on the lineup.

Despite its Britpop-leaning sound, headliner Spoon also has Lone Star State ties. The Austin-originated band enjoyed international success with tracks including “The Underdog” and “Don’t You Evah,” “The Way We Get By” and “I Turn My Camera On.”

The band gained even more prominence as a darling of popular teen drama The OC, which featured several Spoon songs in its indie-heavy soundtrack.

Santigold blended genres seamlessly, with post-punk-esque vocals on top of electro indie-pop beats on songs such as “L.E.S. Artistes” and “Disparate Youth.” And who could forget Band of Horses’ romantic smash hit “No One’s Gonna Love You” or its poetically morose track, “The Funeral“?

So, dust off your oversized scarf and beanie — it’s 2004 all over again.
