OK, we all know we all love the Deftones. Scoffers can scoff and be damned.
I don’t know if it’s the mix of emotive post-hardcore, screamo, nu-metal that somehow vibrated with our corazones or the fact that they were one of the first Latin folks from Generation X doing bad ass shit on MTV.
Whatever the reason, we still love them, and even more so singer Chino Moreno.

According to their website, The Rock Box is hosting a Chino Moreno DJ set, which hopefully will include some of his own work. Either way, Moreno will be kicking it in SA and that’s already exciting enough.
