Gaining a cult-like following over the last 15 years, Trampled by Turtles blends folk, punk, bluegrass and country for a sound that’s eclectic as fuck.
Hailing from Minnesota, the sextet shred faster than Slayer at moments. Just listen to “Wait so Long.” But the band can also get a little somber with medium-to-slow paced rhythms like on the song “Wildflowers.”
On tour in support of their latest effort Life Is Good On the Open Road, the band is headed to Gruene Hall for a performance on Friday, March 1.
Tickets ($30) are currently sold out, but we know that hasn’t stopped y’all from getting into shows before.
