Texas country music legend Willie Nelson will return to Whitewater Amphitheater this spring for a two-night stint with another of the state’s musical icons, Robert Earl Keen.

The shows will take place Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19, with general tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, according to an online announcement from Nelson.

Members of the singer-songwriter’s Club Luck got access to presale tickets on Wednesday. However, ticket prices have yet to be announced.

Shotgun Willie and Family have performed numerous times over the years at the large open-air venue in New Braunfels, which has become something of a home base, aside from his Luck Ranch.

Though Whitewater is an outdoor venue, there’s no lawn seating. The ground is crushed limestone and lawn chairs aren’t permitted on the grounds. However, those who need to sit can find picnic tables in the venue’s biergarten, which offers a selection of beers as well as food.
