A 1910 home in the north-of-downtown Five Points neighborhood went on the market this month after remaining in the same family’s hands for four generations, its listing agent said.

The two-story property, which recently hit the market for $465,000, was in the same family’s hands virtually its entire history. A real estate investor picked it up in 2018 when it was divided into a duplex where two separate generations of the family resided, according to the agent.

Now, after extensive renovations, including restoring the house to single-family status, relocating the kitchen and upgrading both its electrical and plumbing, the three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath dwelling is back on the market.

Despite the recent reno, many of its vintage features remain, including an upstairs sitting area with a multitude of windows and the metal awnings and decorative pillars along the second-story balcony.
