There’s a battle brewing over a trademark used at one of San Antonio’s favorite craft drinking spots.

Big Hops — with its array of taps and growlers for the go — is suing East End Brewing Co. Inc. over its trademark that the Pittsburgh-based company says it’s used since 2004, the San Antonio Express-News reports.

East End Brewing makes a Big Hops IPA, which, interestingly, on East End’s website, features a growler with a question mark on it. 

According to the Express-News’ story, East End tried to trademark that highly rated brew, but was rejected because it was too similar to Big Hops here in the Alamo City.
