Just a few weeks after Mayor Ron Nirenberg got hater Charles Barkley to clear the air and say he loves San Antonio, the retired basketball player took another jab at San Antonio – specifically, the women here.
During Sunday night’s segment of Inside the NBA ahead of the Houston Rockets/Utah Jazz game, Barkley was weighing the game’s stakes.
“Oh, this is a big night tonight,” Barkley began. “Texas is a big state, Utah is not that big. We’ve got all of Texas.”
We already know where this is going.
“We’ve got Amarillo, Austin, Seguin, El Paso, Dallas… San Antonio, and oh, we weigh them twice,” Barkley joked.
He repeated the punchline a few more times, much to Shaquille O’Neal’s amusement.
