San Antonio native Marcy McChesney, who’s been exhibiting paintings and collages internationally for more than 25 years, is presenting an evolved and refined body of work in her new solo exhibition.
Focused on the cyclicality of life — the never-ending circle of creation and destruction that inevitably colors a person’s worldview — McChesney rides her chosen medium to the fullest effect with “The End of Everything, The Beginning of Something Else.”
The show, which opens this Saturday, is a do-not-miss for visual art fans, especially those who have been following McChesney’s career path for a quarter of a century.
Free, 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, Enzminger Studio, 1906 S. Flores St., (646) 912-4165, annenzminger.com.
