San Antonio ACS offering $25 adoptions as part of ‘Black FurDay’ event

On the day after Thanksgiving, San Antonio Animal Care Services will offer a “Black Furday” event to pair humans with furry friends at a discounted adoption rate.

This Friday, ACS is running a $25 special for all pet adoptions. The event at the shelter’s West Side location, 4710 Texas Highway 151, will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All pets up for adoption have already received necessary vaccinations, are microchipped and either spayed or neutered. Those who participate in the Black Furday event also will receive a free toy for their new four-legged friends.

Those interested in adopting a fur baby can visit ACS’s website to check out the nearly 250 cats and more than 1,000 dogs looking for a family.
