San Antonio Spurs fans will have to pay some of the highest ticket prices in the league to root for their team during opening week.

Tickets to see the Silver and Black at home during the NBA’s first week back in action average $581, making them the third-most expensive in the league, according to data from ticket resale site SeatPick.

League-wide, the average ticket price for opening week is $326, for comparison.

To get its rankings, SeatPick analyzed ticket price data from every team’s home games during the first week of the NBA season, Oct. 20-25.

Part of the reason the Spurs’ prices appear inflated is because of the team’s Oct. 23 matchup against the Houston Rockets, which will be played at Austin’s Moody Center. Tickets for that game average $1,150 per seat.

That’s far more than the $307 average ticket price for the Spurs’ home opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder Oct. 20 at the Frost Bank Center.

The Spurs’ ticket prices pale in comparison to those for the star-studded Philadelphia 76ers, whose tickets for first-week home games average $1,232, placing it at No. 1 on the list. The New York Knicks, last year’s champion, posted an average ticket price of $1,212 for opening week.

SeatPick released its rankings the day after Spurs officials said most of the team’s home games will no longer air on local television, much to fans’ dismay.

Instead, the franchise signed a deal with streaming service DAZN, which will stream all Spurs games not televised nationally. That means fans will have to pay $24.99 a month under a 12-month contract with DAZN to catch the action.
