To all of those people who don’t have to work Monday and might be thinking about a jaunt down to the Mission Reach, be careful.

The San Antonio River Authority posted an advisory on Facebook this morning warning that portions of the hike-and-bike trail are underwater.

“Due to the recent rain events, the public is urged to take caution when accessing the hike & bike trail system as portions of the trail may be flooded and/or covered in silt and debris. Our crews will be working on clearing the trails once the rain clears off,” SARA said on Facebook.

So, if your plans include some fun on the Mission Reach, be careful.

The National Weather Service says San Anto residents should expect rain throughout Monday, and thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow morning.
