The San Antonio Police Department accuses Gary L Kennedy of beating a dog to death with a metal bar. Authorities are seeking public assistance in locating the suspect.

San Antonio police are looking for a man accused of cornering a dog and beating it to death.

Gary Laurence Kennedy is wanted on a charge of cruelty to animals (torture and death), along with two misdemeanor warrants for domestic assault, according to police.

“Kennedy chased a dog until he cornered it then struck it with a metal bar until the dog died,” police said in a press release.

The San Antonio Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Kennedy so it can solve the case.

Crime Stoppers is paying up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of Kennedy, and tipsters may remain anonymous.
