
Texans have rallied to support the victims of the tragic floods that swept through the Hill Country on July Fourth, killing dozens of people. These San Antonio-area businesses and organizations are stepping up to support the ongoing relief efforts and assist those in need.
Kerr County Strong run
Dreamers Run Club, Golden Hour Run Club, Hustle and Stride Run Club, Mine Not Yours Women’s Walks and Born Again Run Club are hosting a Wednesday evening benefit run at San Antonio’s Hops and Hounds. A minimum donation of $1, one food item, one piece of clothing or shoes or a blood donation onsite is required to participate. High Street Wine Co.
The Pearl-area wine bar is collecting donations Monday, July 7, through Thursday, July 10, for those affected by the flooding. Patrons are encouraged to donate nonperishable food items, new or gently used clothing and hygiene products. Donations will be accepted 1-8 p.m. daily. El Camino
The River North-area food truck park and bar is taking up donations all month and will deliver them weekly to the Salvation Army Relief team in Kerrville. Supplies needed include hygiene items, trash bags, diapers, socks, baby wipes, brooms and shovels. El Camino, 1009 Avenue B., elcaminosa.com.
Shiro/Yozora
Chef Grey Hwang is donating 100% of proceeds from sales of the Hill Country Relief Roll at Shiro and the weekly treat at Yozora from Tuesday, July 8, until Thursday, July 31, to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Multiple locations, shirossan.com, yozora.online.
James Avery
Founded in Kerrville, James Avery is donating $1 million to organizations assisting with flood relief. The jewelry company is also donating 100% of sales from its “Deep in the Heart of Texas” charm until August 4 to ongoing relief efforts for Kerr County and the surrounding areas. San Antonio Food Bank

Kerr County Flood Relief Fund
This nonprofit public charity will provide funds to vetted organizations offering flood assistance, rescue, relief and recovery efforts. The fund will focus on the Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort communities. cftexashillcountry.com.
