Rap star Drake has struck a deal with San Antonio-based radio conglomerate iHeartMedia to settle part of his legal battle over the Kendrick Lamar diss track “Not Like Us,” the Associated Press reports, citing a court filing.

In an action filed last November in Bexar County, Drake accused iHeartMedia of taking illegal payments from record label UMG to boost play of the smash hit, which accused Drake and his crew of being pedophiles. The Canadian rapper has denied those claims.

Now, in a document filed Thursday, Drake’s attorneys said he and iHeartMedia reached a deal for “amicable resolution” of the dispute, according to the AP. The filing offered no other details.

“We are pleased that the parties were able to reach a settlement satisfactory to both sides, and have no further comment on this matter,” Drake’s attorneys said in a statement supplied to the AP.

Officials with iHeartMedia declined comment.

Drake’s original court action wasn’t a lawsuit but a pre-suit deposition, or request for information from UMG and iHeartMedia in what was likely preparation to sue one or both companies.

Thursday’s settlement doesn’t appear to end a separate claim Drake has against UMG, the parent label for which both he and Lamar record.

In that case, Drake argues UMG should have blocked or edited “Not Like Us” before its release because of its allegedly defamatory and untrue content. He also alleges the label engaged in an unethical pay-to-play scheme to boost radio exposure for “Not Like Us.”
