Chef Jason Dady (Two Bros. BBQ, Jardin, Tre Trattoria, Roca & Martillo) is the latest San Antonio chef to appear on Food Network, having joined the fray as a contestant on the sixth season of BBQ Brawl.
The competition series features celebrity chef Bobby Flay leading a team of notable pitmasters in challenges against competing team captains Maneet Chauhan (Chopped) and Antonio Lofaso (Top Chef), both famous chef-restaurateurs in their own right.
Chauhan and Lofaso will join Flay at Austin’s Star Hill Ranch as the three teams duke it out for the title “Master of Q,” according to details shared by Food Network.
The Current reached out to the network to glean which team will feature Dady but got no response by press time Thursday morning.
In addition to a first-ever Brawlers vs. Captains battle, the latest season of BBQ Brawl will feature “never-before-seen twists and turns,” according to network officials. Other challenges teased by the channel include an Old West live-fire gear challenge, prepping a meatless feast, cooking with the Argentinian Asado Iron Cross and more.
The final winner of BBQ Brawl will be featured on Food Network’s social platforms in addition to earning well-deserved bragging rights.
