Another San Antonio nightspot appears to have quietly shut down — this one less than a year after opening.
Conversa Elevated debuted in February on I-10, about five minutes from The Rim. A play on the word, “conversation,” the two-story bar promised an elevated nightlife and cocktail experience paired with an upscale dinner menu and weekend brunch.
However, after fewer than eight months of operation, Conserva’s Google listing describes it as being temporarily closed. However, the business’ OpenTable listing states that it’s been permanently shuttered.
Either way, Conversa hasn’t posted on its social media channels since September.
The bar, located at 20327 I-10 #170, was the first food and beverage concept from San Antonio’s Four Skillets hospitality group.
The Current reached out to the Four Skillets team for comment but got no immediate response. An attempt to call Conversa’s listed phone number didn’t go through.
If Conversa is permanently closed, it joins more than 20 locally owned restaurants and bars that have closed since the end of last year.
