Folklores Coffee House soon will open another location, this one in Beacon Hill, according to its owners.

“We are beyond excited to announce that we are opening our second location in Beacon Hill! As we continue to grow and serve our community, we’re thrilled to share that this new space will have a special twist,” the shop said in posts on Instagram and Facebook.

For the “special twist,” the DIY punk coffee shop is partnering with local cheese-and-meat purveyor Cheeseme to offer up charcuterie boards along with the innovative lattes and caffeinated concoctions customers have come to expect.

The new shop will be located at 106 Michigan near The Wicked Wich and B-Side, according to Folklores owner Tatu Herrera. He expects the new location to open in late November or early December.

Folklores started in 2018 in South San Antonio before moving into its Government Hill location during the pandemic. Right now, its menu features plenty of ghoulishly gourd-centric drinks perfect for spooky season, including the pumpkin horchata, pumpkin churro, classic pumpkin latte and pumpkin chai.
