The San Antonio Coffee Festival is expanding its offerings with a new nighttime holiday market called Hot Holidays on Houston.

The new event will take place downtown from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 along Houston Street between the Alameda Theater and the Frost Bank Promenade, according to organizers. The gathering will feature holiday lights along with warm seasonal beverages and treats.

Local beverage vendors will include Hernán, Dos Perros Coffee, Olla Express, Pulp Coffee Roasters and more, organizers said. These percolated beverage providers will serve up the expected coffees along with Mexican hot chocolate, holiday-inspired cocktails, cider, tea and more.

La Panadería, The Beignet Stand, Renee’s Fine Chocolates and Amor Bandido will be on hand to offer sweets, and attendees will be able to do their holiday shopping at a curated gift market featuring local artisans.

The festival is a partnership between the City of San Antonio, Centro San Antonio and Visit San Antonio, who hope to “activate this unique part of downtown,” according to an emailed statement.

.
“Centro is dedicated to revitalizing the Houston Street corridor alongside our partners, helping it reclaim its place as ‘San Antonio’s main street’ through initiatives like the Houston Street Celebration Series,” Centro San Antonio CEO Trish DeBerry said in the statement. “Hot Holidays on Houston Street, presented by the San Antonio Coffee Festival, plays a key role in these efforts, activating and highlighting diverse spaces in downtown San Antonio.”

Tickets are on sale now and run $40. Every ticket comes with a commemorative holiday mug, beverage sampling and more swag.
