Few of us missed Little Ms. Gothic Lolita’s dance of thinly veiled threats on Netflix’s Addams Family series — it was hard to ignore.
Now that the TV adaptation is bringing a new generation of fans into the beloved franchise, the timing seems perfect for San Antonio’s Wonder Theatre to present The Addams Family Musical.
In the musical, which begins its run this Friday, daughter Wednesday Addams has done gone and gotten herself engaged to — horror of horrors — a square: a downright L7 goofball whom she’s too embarrassed to bring home to Mama Morticia.
That means her papa, Mr. Gomez Addams, must do the unthinkable: keep a secret from his beloved wife. Witness the fateful night the Addams family hosts Mr. Perfect for dinner.
