The Chapel of the Incarnate Word’s Caritas Concerts series primarily focuses on presenting organ music, and this Sunday’s fifth installment of its current season will pair the chapel’s majestic pipe organ with an uncommon collaborator: a guitarist.

Seth Nelson, organist for First Baptist Church of San Antonio, will perform music of the season —  encompassing both Fiesta and Easter themes — and conclude the concert in a duet with well-traveled guitarist Kevin McCormick from Vivaldi’s “Spring.”

McCormick also will premiere an original set of études for guitar inspired by the Texas Hill Country along with another new piece and chants arranged for guitar.

Free, 4 p.m., Sunday, April 19, Chapel of the Incarnate Word, 4503 Broadway, (210) 828-2224, ext. 294, ccvichapel.org.
