You may have seen a peculiar group of bikers on the Hays Street bridge incanting words of power about two weeks ago. Today’s bicycle poetry event is at the Delivery Market at 310 E Houston Street, beginning 6:45 pm. They’re a fairly small group of young writers, but are open to seeing more company. Here’s the blurb:
“Bring your thoughts to read aloud and spill your bleeding heart out. All free-spirits, lovers of literature and life alike, warriors of the written word, vacant vagabonds, roughed-up roustabouts, callous carpetbaggers, deadbeat derelicts, rambunctious rabblerousers, and slanted sycophants are welcome and encouraged.”
