Spurs fans who just can’t get enough of the team’s H-E-B commercials can now own a part of that super-Texan collaboration.
Beginning today, they’ll be able to bid on items used in the TV ads as part of the H-E-B 12 Days of Christmas Spurs Auction. The online auction features more than a dozen props and wardrobe pieces used in this year’s spots.
Among the most notable are robes signed by Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, George “Iceman” Gervin, Bruce Bowen and Sean Elliott that each of the legends wore in the commercial about Ginobili’s induction to the retirement club.
Others include Ginobili’s apron from his Taqueria Manu skit (plus the sign), Rudy Gay’s meditation outfit and Patty Mills’ magician coat and hat.
Fans also will be able to bid on a Spursday experience package that include four tickets to the highly anticipated January 3 home game, in which the Spurs square off against the Toronto Raptors Kawhi Leonard. The package includes dinner at the Terrace Restaurant.
Bidding is open now through Friday, December 21, at 10 p.m. at heb.givesmart.com. All proceeds benefit Silver and Black Give Back, the Spurs’ nonprofit that supports community service and sports programs for local youth.
