With Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo trade rumors now proven fruitless, Spurs fans appear ready to welcome projected No. 2 draft pick Dylan Harper to San Antonio.

Indeed, a mural celebrating the Rutgers guard has already popped up in Southtown.

Painted on the side of Rudy’s Seafood, 4122 S Flores St., the mural of Harper was created by Alamo City street artist Nik Soupe. It appears alongside Soupe’s depictions of Spurs players including Chris Paul, Jeremy Sochan, and Hall of Famer Manu Ginobili.

The 19-year-old Harper averaged 19 points, five rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes of game play during his freshman year at Rutgers, and he’s widely regarded by analysts as the consensus No. 2 pick in Wednesday’s draft.

The San Antonio Spurs also have the 14th pick. However, it remains a mystery who the Silver and Black might be considering for that pick.

Several watch parties and promotions are taking place around town in celebration of the Spurs roping in Harper. The team’s official draft watch party will kick off at 6:30 p.m. at Frost Plaza at The Rock at La Cantera.

Folks also can tune in to watch the draft at 7 p.m. Central on ESPN.
