Victor Wembanyama, the French phenom at the center of the San Antonio Spurs, celebrated his 21st birthday Saturday — and a local artist and superfan created a new work to commemorate the occasion.

Printmaker Ray “Tattooed Boy” Scarborough shared an image Saturday on his Instagram account of a colorfully dressed Wemby holding two stacks of red Solo cups, the top ones overflowing with suds. The words “Happy birthday, mijo!” appear at the bottom.

“Happy 21st Birthday @wemby,” Scarborough urged in the post. “Don’t get all necio tonight!”

The Spanish word necio literally translates to “foolish.” In South Texas, it’s often associated with getting too tipsy for one’s own good — something more than a few of us have done on our first drinking-age birthday.

Scarborough is known for his comic book-style depictions the Spurs, some of which have appeared on the cover of the Current over the years.

While the Spurs lost Saturday’s game to the Denver Nuggets, 122-111 in overtime, Wembanyama was far from necio during play. He finished with 20 points, 23 rebounds, three assists, one steal and four blocks in 39 minutes of game time.

Happy birthday, big guy!
