Manu Ginobili Day may be over in San Antonio, but the celebration of the longtime Spur continues.
On Thursday, local artist @mikecomp, @art_n_sole210 and @pikaso210 began work on a new Ginobili mural over at Gil’s Tires & Wheels on San Pedro. Against a bright green wall, the artists captured Ginobili’s iconic roar face that’s almost the full height of the building as well as the Argentinean with the ball in hand.
People driving by were sure to stop and take photos of themselves in front of the mural in the making.
The artists shared an update at the end of Thursday night. They are expecting to complete the mural by the end of the day.
It isn’t the only mural in the works. This #GraciasManu mural was also spotted from @losotrosmurals.
