
Each year, Alamo City families gather in local parks to camp out, grill and hunt for eggs to celebrate the Easter holiday.
To keep that tradition alive, the City of San Antonio is lifting curfews for 11 municipal park locations. The curfew lifts at 11 p.m. Thursday for all but one on the list and will be reinstated at 11 p.m. this Sunday.
Hop on over to the following parks if you’re interested a family camping excursion for the Easter weekend:

The city curfew still applies to the Avenue B Brackenridge Parking Garage on 3700 N. St. Mary’s St. and to the Island House and gym areas in Woodlawn Lake Park, according to city officials.
Visitors should observe park rules on trash and grill safety, according to a statement from the Parks & Recreation Department. They also should bring their own trash bags and recycle clean plastic and cans. Glass bottles are not allowed in the parks.
The San Antonio Fire Department also outlined a list of grill safety tips, including using a charcoal chimney starter and cleaning grills after each use.
Those feeling particularly hoppity can also volunteer with Parks & Rec to pick up litter over the holiday weekend.
