The San Antonio Zoo is celebrating teachers this weekend as part of World Teachers’ Day.

Active Texas educators employed by an accredited K-12 public, private or parochial school will get free admission to the San Antonio Zoo from Saturday, Sept. 26, to Monday, Oct. 5, as part of the celebration.

What’s more, Texas teachers will get half off up to four guest tickets for friends and family.

All tickets must be purchased online via the San Antonio Zoo’s official website, and teachers must be prepared to present a driver’s license and a copy of either their teaching certificate or school ID badge to enter.

The San Antonio Zoo is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. seven days a week.
