Kawhi Leonard is a star, y’all.

While we know he brings the humor in the Spurs’ H-E-B commercials, Kawhi ventured out on his own for his very first Foot Locker TV spot. And we’ve got to say, we love it.

It’s pretty cool that The Klaw took part in such a pop culture-infused commercial that’s going to be seen on a national level. Like, he has a speaking bit AND he smiles a little. What a treat.

What’s even better is that Kommercial Kawhi (branding that now) is the complete opposite of real-life Kawhi. Plus, a disclaimer at the end of the commercial points out just that. If you look closely, the bottom of the screen reads:

Kawhi Leonard does not now, nor has ever used social media of any kind. Any portrayal of Kawhi using social media is entirely fictional, including any use of hasthtags, emojis, @’s, etc. Any images bearing resemblance to Kawhi Leonard are purely coincidental.

This was perfect. Foot Locker poked fun at Kawhi’s incredibly laid-back personality, just like they did in Tim Duncan’s commercial a few years back.
