This Puro San Antonio Guy Got a Tattoo Inspired by The GOAT Coach Pop

A guy born and raised on the city's Westside is adding some puro San Antonio art to his list of tattoos, the latest being a nod to Spurs coach Gregg Popovich.

Mike Rodriguez said he didn't put much thought into the tattoo, but that it just sort of happened. It's just one tattoo of what's expected to be a puro San Antonio collection.
He said tattoo artist Armando Bernal Jr. was excited about the Popovich tattoo and told Rodriguez that he came to the right guy.

The Popovich tattoo comes less than a week after Rodriguez added a tattoo of the General McMullen exit sign. After considering a Highway 90 sign tattoo, Rodriguez decided on the General McMullen tribute since "that's home."
"Jason [Mendoza] kinda laughed about it but never doubted it," Rodriguez said about the Bright & Bold tattoo artist.

As for rest of his collection, Rodriguez said he might get a Whataburger or Fred's Fish Fry tattoo.
