Austin-based fast-casual chain Hopdoddy Burger Bar chain is cooking up plans for a third Alamo City location.

The burgers-and-full bar concept will open a new store at 11267 Huebner Road, just off I-10 in Northwest San Antonio in early spring, records with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show. Construction on the $350,000 restaurant is expected to get underway in July, according to its state filing. The Hopdoddy chain is known for handcrafted burgers that can feature a variety of sustainably sourced proteins and gourmet toppings. Its menu also includes hand-cut fries, loaded Brussels sprouts and salads. Each store also includes a full bar that serves up cocktails, local craft brews and boozy milkshakes.

The new Hopdoddy will join two other Alamo City locations, 17623 La Cantera Parkway and 1301 North Loop 1604 West, Suite 101.

The chain has roughly 50 stores spread across Texas and seven other states, according to its website. Subscribe to SA Current newsletters.
