San Antonio might be experiencing fall weather right now, but Pearl’s Pullman Market is bringing the heat.
The locally focused grocery and food hub’s Smoke & Fire festival, which sold out in 2025, its inaugural year, will return on Saturday, Nov. 14. The event will run 4-8 p.m.
The concept is straightforward — 13 pitmasters from across Texas will set up booths in the alleyway in front of Pullman, preparing smoked bites for ticket holders to sample.
San Antonio pitmasters and chefs participating include Sean Wen of Curry Boys BBQ, chef Ian Lanphear of Isidore, chef Jason Dady representing Two Bros BBQ and Alex and Brenda Sarmiento from El Pastor es mi Senor. Ian Corral and Max Munoz of Mezquite will also return as guest chefs, along with Gabe Erales and Larkin Kuny, representing Rosso, a new steakhouse concept tentatively slated to debut in early 2027.
Other notable chefs from outside the Alamo City will include Arnie Segovia of ArnieTex, Kareem El-Ghayesh of the popular KG BBQ in Austin and Roy Servan of Taqueria de Diaz.
VIP and general admission tickets are still available for $175.26 and $105.96 per person, respectively. Children 12 and under will receive discounted admission.
VIP perks include early entry at 4 p.m., Pullman merchandise and access to a reserved patio. Both ticket tiers include admission to the event and unlimited food samples. Drink vendors will also be on-site serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
Lines were packed last year, so arriving early is strongly recommended for guests hoping to sample food from every participating chef.
$105.96-$175.26, 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, Pullman Market, 221 Newell Ave., (210) 759-0086, pullmanmarket.com.
