As much as we enjoy the food and togetherness Thanksgiving brings, not all of us look forward to whipping up a feast and washing more dishes than we ever thought we’d owned.
And, to be honest, some of us cook so poorly, we’d hate to inflict our version of a turkey dinner on our loved ones.
Fortunately, some of San Antonio’s best restaurants and grocers can help create a pain-free holiday by preparing Thanksgiving meals for dine-in, take-out or delivery. Let’s take a look at the options.
Two Bros BBQ Market
Chef Jason Dady has several options for getting stuffed on Nov. 28, including Two Bros BBQ’s smoked turkey package. The heat-and-eat deal is designed to serve 10 to 12 people for $160, and it includes a 14- to 16-pound turkey along with sides including stuffing, salad, potatoes and rolls. Other add-ons can be included for $49.95 such as macaroni and cheese, beans or coleslaw. Those who just want the turkey it can order it separately for $90. Barbecue fans are encouraged to place an early online order for their pickup order. 12656 West Ave., (210) 496-0222, twobrosbbqmarket.com.
Chef Dady’s Thanksgiving Family Feast
For a more elevated take on holiday classics, Dady also is offering a package that can be home-delivered. That option includes a turkey, stuffing, green beans and other sides. There are also other meat options, such as pork tenderloin, salmon and shrimp. Additional sides, including Brussels sprouts, Caesar salad and potato salad, are available for $47.95 each. Preorders will be accepted through Nov. 24 for delivery on Nov. 27. jasondady.com/thanksgiving-family-feast.
