Lackland Adjacent Restaurant Offering Government Shutdown Lunch Special

There are some silver linings coming out of Military City USA after Friday’s government shutdown. It’s not a celebration by any means, but for today, owners of Mina and Dimi’s Greek House, are hosting a “Government Shutdown Special.”

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the restaurant, found near Lackland AFB, will offer its gyro pita sandwich dressed with tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce with hand-cut Greek-seasoned fries for $5.25.
