Luxury-lifestyle magazine the Robb Report bestowed the honor on the Pearl dining and shopping destination, which was dubbed the “largest culinary market in the Southwest” upon its April 2024 debut. A passion project years in the making, Pullman Market is Emmer & Rye Hospitality’s 40,000-square-foot love letter to Texas food.
The Pullman Market is home to five sit-down restaurants, five more grab-and-go concepts and a recently launched build-your-own salad or grain-bowl bar. Restaurant options at the Pullman range from pasta and pizza staple Fife & Farro to Nicosi, an exclusive 12-seat, dessert-only experience. The concept’s namesake market focuses in locally sourced ingredients.
Robb Report writer Jeremy Repanich credited the Pullman Market as Kevin Fink’s and Tavel Bristol-Joseph’s “most ambitious project to date,” following their work creating “a mini-empire in Austin.” Both men are founding chef-partners in Emmer and Rye Hospitality, and have received Michelin stars for several of their Austin restaurants, including Hestia and Emmer & Rye on Rainey Street.
Fink and Bristol-Joseph previously told the Current that they plan to enhance the overall guest experience at the Pullman Market in the ambitious project’s second year.
